About Our Team

We’re a team of experienced coaches who believe training should be supportive, effective, and built around you. With over 20 years of health and fitness specific tertiary education and more than 65 years of combined industry experience, we bring a depth of knowledge that helps people of all ages and abilities train safely and confidently.

Our coaches have worked across New Zealand, the UK, the United States, and Canada, giving us a broad, practical understanding of what works in real gym settings. We’ve coached everyone from international-level athletes to people who are brand new to training, delivered strength and conditioning programs for over 20 sports teams, and supported thousands of clients through one-on-one personal training.

Whether your goal is to get stronger, move better, lose weight, build confidence in the gym, or simply feel healthier day to day, we meet you where you’re at. Our focus is on personalised coaching, clear guidance, and creating a gym environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and capable of success.

CHRIS

Director/Trainer

CHRIS

With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Chris combines advanced education with global coaching experience to deliver results driven training. After completing a Diploma of Fitness and a Degree in Physical Education majoring in Sports Science, he worked as a personal trainer across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom. His coaching philosophy focuses on consistency, smart programming, and disciplined nutrition, making every session purposeful, efficient, and built to deliver measurable results. Outside the gym, he enjoys surfing, skiing, wakeboarding, and spending time with family and friends.

NATHAN

Operation Manager/Trainer

NATHAN

Nathan has worked across the fitness industry since 2012, building his expertise through elite sport, strength and conditioning, and hands on coaching. A high level basketball athlete, he trained at National Basketball League level, played for the Canberra Gunners in NBL1, and competed in college basketball in Canada. Mentored by leading coaches through Australian Institute of Sport programs, Nathan combines evidence based training with practical results. He also works as a remedial massage therapist, helping clients improve performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

SEAN

Sean has spent 7 years in high-performance sport as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and has worked as a qualified Personal Trainer since 2013. His experience includes coaching at the ACT Academy of Sport, supporting athletes across cycling, rowing, rugby sevens, and basketball, from junior national level through to Olympic gold medallists. He also led strength and conditioning programs at Basketball ACT, with a career highlight of winning the 2023 NBL1 East title with the Canberra Gunners. His philosophy is simple: clear goals, smart programming, and consistent adherence deliver results.

CAM

Cam has trained under some of Australia’s top coaches in weightlifting and powerlifting and brings experience from gyms both here and overseas. With a background in rugby, cricket, soccer, tennis, wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and athletics, he draws on a broad range of methods to create personalised, challenging, and effective workouts. Cam’s approach focuses on proven systems to help anyone improve fitness, health, and strength. Outside the gym, he loves gardening, growing his own food, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

PHIL

Phil has been in the fitness industry since 2013, working with clients of all ages and group sizes. Combining this experience with over 20 years in the wholesale trading industry, he brings exceptional people skills and a passion for fitness to every session. Phil focuses on safe, effective, and enjoyable training to help clients achieve their goals. Outside the gym, he loves mountain biking at Mount Stromlo and Mount Majura, surfing, and skiing, staying active and fit for adventure. His philosophy: fun, consistent training plus good nutrition equals a healthier, happier life.

TERENA

Terena brings years of experience in fitness, from competing in horse riding, swimming, cycling, and triathlons to instructing classes in cycling, strength, functional training, circuits, core, and more. She has worked across multiple Canberra fitness centres, designing exercise programs and personal training for all ages and abilities. Terena’s philosophy is to help you become your best self, using strength, conditioning, balance, flexibility, and mobility to create safe, enjoyable, and practical workouts tailored to your goals. Outside the gym, she loves swimming, cycling, and gardening.
